Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lebovits שליט"א 

Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lebovits learned in HaRav Tzvi Kaplan’s Yeshiva in Eretz Yisroel for 7 years. He moved to Baltimore to join the כולל of HaRav Yaakov Hopfer שליט”א, eventually becoming a very close תלמיד and he is presently in charge of the Night Seder at Mercaz Torah U’tefilla. Mesivta Shaarei Chaim is fortunate that Rabbi Lebovits and all that he brings with him has been with us since our inception. In his role as Ninth Grade Rebbe, Rabbi Lebovits is known for his trademark warmth, unusual talents and exceptional כח הסברה. He possesses a keen understanding of people and his charisma draws all who know him close. He is known for his sharp and perceptive insights into the education process and for establishing a warm and close relationship with his students and peers.

Rabbi Noam Hinberg שליט”א

We are most fortunate that Rabbi Noam Hinberg שליט"א has agreed to become the new מגיד שיעור for our מתיבתא. Beside being a תלמיד חכם and ירא שמים in a league of his own, Rabbi Hinberg possesses a keen understanding of בחורים and their needs, to enable further growth and satisfaction. He has learned for many years in נר ישראל, where he developed a close relationship with many of the רביים there; especially with HaRav Tzvi Berkowitz שליט"א. He has taught שיעורים, given many חבורות, and was employed by נר ישראל to help their talmidim as a שואל ומשיב and ראש חבורה over the years. He is a sought-after mentor and רבי to many already, and having him with our מתיבתא is expected not only to give his שיעור an unbelievable year of shteiging, but really to raise the bar of our entire מוסד! We couldn’t have been more pleased with this new addition.

Rabbi Avraham Yeshaya Rayman שליט”א

Rabbi Avraham Yeshaya Rayman is an accomplished תלמיד חכם and a founding member of the כולל of Harav Hopfer שליט”א. Over the past few summers, Rabbi Rayman was selected to give a שיעור in Camp Ruach Hakayitz known for it’s high caliber בחורים. More recently, he was appointed by Harav Hopfer שליט”א as ראש כולל. At Mesivta Shaarei Chaim, Rabbi Rayman quickly became known, appreciated and beloved, not only to his own תלמידים, but to the entire Mesivta and much of the community. He tirelessly works and gives his “all” to the תלמידים of the Mesivta. His warmth, exuberance and dedication are the “icing” on top of his masterful and clear שיעורים. We are privileged to have another תלמיד חכם and role model of this caliber as part of the Shaarei Chaim staff.

Rabbi Aharon Jager שליט”א

As a prominent and respected young תלמיד חכם, Rabbi Jager brings an unusual combination of erudition, warmth and infectious enthusiasm. He is unique in being well-versed in multiple domains of למוד and הרבצת התורה, as he was a devoted תלמיד of both HaRav Moshe Twersky, זצ"ל in Toras Moshe, and יבח"ל, HaRav Nachum Lansky in Yeshivas Ner Yisroel. He has a large following in the Mesivta and beyond of תלמידים who soak up all of his knowledge and “geshmak” שיעורים presented with clarity and התלהבות.
